At mealtimes and when it’s time to clean your teeth, take out your clear aligners and rinse them with water before placing them back in your smile so that you remove any plaque or saliva that could stain the material.
It’s important to keep your aligners clean so that they don’t promote bacteria growth that could lead to oral health problems.
At least once a day, soak your orthodontic appliance in a solution of water and Invisalign cleaning crystals or denture solution for a deep clean.
Before placing the aligners back over your smile, be sure to brush your teeth with a fluoride toothpaste and soft-bristled toothbrush and floss around the teeth so that any lingering plaque and bacteria don’t remain on your teeth throughout the day and put you at risk of tooth decay.
